# Change comments settings

`PUT /v1/data/{artifactId}/comments/_config`

## Request

Artifact owner only. `guestComments: true` lets people with no account comment after an email code, wherever they can already open the page (public, or an unlocked password page); `false` turns it off; `null` follows the folder setting.
