# Ask a quick question about your work

`POST /v1/questions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shardflux.dev`
- URL: `https://api.shardflux.dev/v1/questions`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Answers from the board: tasks, plans and states, sealed reports, the conversations behind them and what their agents last wrote. It never starts work and never reaches a computer; an answer that needs work ends with "Make it a task?" (`needs_work: true`).

With `Accept: text/event-stream` the answer streams: `queued` (`position`, `expected_wait_ms`) while it waits its turn, `delta` (`text`) as it is written, then `done` (this response’s object). Otherwise the whole answer comes back as JSON.

`task_id`: the selected task, when the question is about it. `history`: the drawer’s earlier turns.
