# Update Tenant

`PUT /v1/tenant/{tenant_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io/v1/tenant/{tenant_id}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `/v1/auth`

This endpoint updates a tenant by its ID.
The tenant ID and the update data should be provided in the request.

If the user does not have permission to access the tenant, the endpoint returns a 401 error.

## Path parameters

- `tenant_id` integer, required

## Request body

- TenantUpdateInput
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `color` TenantColor
    - `value` string, nullable, required

## Response `204`

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `422`: Validation Error
