# Delete Tenant

`DELETE /v1/tenant/{tenant_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io/v1/tenant/{tenant_id}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `/v1/auth`

This endpoint deletes a tenant by its ID.
The tenant ID and the number of ancillaries the user expects to change should be provided in the request.

If the user does not have permission to access the tenant, the endpoint returns a 401 error.
If the provided number of related ancillaries does not match the actual number, the endpoint returns a 400 error.

## Path parameters

- `tenant_id` integer, required
