# Put Soil For Structure With Id

`PUT /v1/structures/{structure_id}/soil-properties`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

This endpoint allows you to update the soil properties associated with a structure by its ID.
The structure ID should be provided as a path parameter in the URL.
The soil properties to be updated should be provided in the request body.

If you want to create new soil layers, set the id of the new entries to -1.
If you want to update existing soil layers, set the id of the existing entries to their current id.
If you want to delete existing soil layers, omit them from the request body.

This endpoint does not return a response body. If the operation is successful, a 204 status code is returned.
