# Get Access Token

`POST /v1/auth`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shapemaker.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

This endpoint is used to authenticate a user.
It accepts a `username` and `password` as form fields, and uses these to authenticate the user.
If the authentication is successful, it returns a JSON object with the user's information and access token.
