# Update tone slider or bump voice fingerprint

`PATCH /api/settings/voice`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`
- URL: `https://api.setluca.com/api/settings/voice`
- Auth: API key in cookie `luca.session_token`

Moves the tone slider, bumps the voice fingerprint version, or both. The fingerprint version is the counter voice reads carry, so bumping it is how a caller says the coach's voice has changed.

**Session-only.** This endpoint isn't on the API-key allowlist. An organization API key gets a 403 here, whatever scopes it holds.
