# Pause everything Luca drafts or sends for one lead

`POST /api/leads/{id}/drafting/pause`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`
- URL: `https://api.setluca.com/api/leads/{id}/drafting/pause`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `luca.session_token`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Stops DM reply drafts, follow-up cadences and campaign sends for this lead until the pause ends or the coach resumes. A draft in flight stops at its next step. Safety handling still runs: an opt-out is still handled, and a crisis message still reaches the coach as an urgent card that never auto-sends. Pausing again replaces the earlier pause. A timed pause ends by itself, and Luca then resumes the lead the way the resume endpoint does.

**API key scopes:** `leads:write`. You also need an `Idempotency-Key` header.
