# Request an on-demand sync for a knowledge source

`POST /api/knowledge/sources/{id}/sync`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`
- URL: `https://api.setluca.com/api/knowledge/sources/{id}/sync`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `luca.session_token`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Queues a re-read of the source now, instead of waiting for the next scheduled sync. It returns as soon as the job is queued.

**API key scopes:** `knowledge:write`. You also need an `Idempotency-Key` header.
