# Edit the fields of a staged action proposal

`PATCH /api/copilot/threads/{threadId}/actions/{actionId}`

The coach's edits to a proposal card. Send the revision you saw and only the fields that changed. The proposal gets a new revision, so an approval of the older one is refused. You'll get a 409 with `revision_conflict` when the revision is stale.

**Session-only.** This endpoint isn't on the API-key allowlist. An organization API key gets a 403 here, whatever scopes it holds.
