# Discard a staged copilot action proposal

`POST /api/copilot/threads/{threadId}/actions/{actionId}/discard`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`

The coach's no to a staged action. A proposed reply gets rejected in the review queue, a proposed rescue gets cancelled, and a plan proposal is closed without running. A plan proposal that ended short, failed, or stopped showing progress can be closed too; its step results stay on the card. You'll get a 409 if the proposal was already decided.

**Session-only.** This endpoint isn't on the API-key allowlist. An organization API key gets a 403 here, whatever scopes it holds.
