# Open a cancellation-flow session

`POST /api/cancellation/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`
- URL: `https://api.setluca.com/api/cancellation/start`
- Auth: API key in cookie `luca.session_token`

Opens a flow session under a client-generated id. Every later step carries that id, so the survey answer, the offer shown, and the outcome all join into one record. It stays reachable when the coach is paused, past due, or already cancelled.

**Session-only.** This endpoint isn't on the API-key allowlist. An organization API key gets a 403 here, whatever scopes it holds.
