# Create a managed booking type

`POST /api/bookings/types`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.setluca.com`
- URL: `https://api.setluca.com/api/bookings/types`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `luca.session_token`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Defines a bookable call: how long it runs, where it happens, and how it looks to the lead. Give it a schedule next. A booking type with no schedule offers no slots.

**API key scopes:** `bookings:write`. You also need an `Idempotency-Key` header.
