# Retire Process

`DELETE /model/{env}/processes/{pid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-docs.session-exchange.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api-docs.session-exchange.com/model/{env}/processes/{pid}`
- Auth: none declared

Retire a process from the graph. Auto-discovery surfaces candidates by
folding the stream, and some are false positives (control-plane chatter, near-
duplicates) — the model needs a way to drop them so coverage isn't diluted by
noise. Idempotent-ish: 404 if it was never registered.

1e — retire is coverage-affecting (it shrinks the denominator), so when 'retire'
is enforced it must carry an audited `reason`, and an at_target process can only
be retired by an admin (you can't silently drop a completed process to reshape
coverage).
