Withdraw a published version from NEW sales; existing buyers' pins keep resolving.
While the deprecated version is the listed `latest`, the listing is left out of browse,
search and facets (`DiscoveryIndex.is_deprecated`), its row says `sellable:false,
unsellable_reason:"version_deprecated"`, and checkout refuses it (400 `version_deprecated`).
Promoting a successor lifts all of that. Entitlements and the bundle ignore deprecation.
