# Create a new Job Activity

`POST /jobactivity.json`

#### OAuth Scope
This endpoint requires the following OAuth scope **manage_schedule**.

			
			
#### Record UUID
UUID is optional for record creation. If no UUID is supplied, a UUID will be automatically generated for the new record and returned in the `x-record-uuid` response header.

## Request body

- JobActivity
  - `uuid` string, uuid — Unique identifier for this record
  - `active` 0 | 1 — Record active/deleted flag. Valid values are [0,1]. Valid values are [0,1]
  - `edit_date` string — Timestamp at which record was last modified
  - `job_uuid` string, uuid
  - `staff_uuid` string, uuid
  - `start_date` string
  - `end_date` string
  - `activity_was_scheduled` string
  - `activity_was_recorded` string
  - `activity_was_automated` string
  - `has_been_opened` string
  - `has_been_opened_timestamp` string
  - `travel_time_in_seconds` string
  - `travel_distance_in_meters` string
  - `allocated_by_staff_uuid` string, uuid
  - `allocated_timestamp` string
  - `material_uuid` string, uuid
  - `edit_by_staff_uuid` string, uuid — UUID of Staff Member who last modified record
