# Create a new Attachment

`POST /attachment.json`

#### Record UUID
UUID is optional for record creation. If no UUID is supplied, a UUID will be automatically generated for the new record and returned in the `x-record-uuid` response header.

## Request body

- Attachment
  - `uuid` string, uuid — Unique identifier for this record
  - `active` 0 | 1 — Record active/deleted flag. Valid values are [0,1]
  - `edit_date` string — Timestamp at which record was last modified
  - `related_object` string
  - `related_object_uuid` string, uuid
  - `attachment_name` string — The security roles description
  - `file_type` string — Location's name
  - `created_by_staff_uuid` string, uuid
  - `timestamp` string
  - `attachment_source` string
  - `tags` string
  - `lng` number, float
  - `lat` number, float
  - `photo_width` string
  - `photo_height` string
  - `extracted_info` string
  - `is_favourite` string
  - `class_name` string
  - `metadata` string
