# PATCH /v1/lists/{id}

`PATCH /v1/lists/{id}`

## Request

Update list metadata. `sort` is the table-sort state; null clears it (manual / position order). The server does not validate `sort.key` against the active column set — clients render position order when the referenced column is missing.
