# GET /v1/datasets/{id}/{apex}

`GET /v1/datasets/{id}/{apex}`

## Request

Fetch one row from a dataset. Always returns the brief; the detail block is present only when the caller has an active unlock for (user, dataset_id, apex). Idempotent — never charges. To unlock, POST to /v1/datasets/:id/unlocks.
