# Retrieve users who can be assigned a proposal

`GET /proposals/{proposalId}/users`

Returns a list of users in the subscriber’s organization who can be assigned the specified proposal. You can send this request to retrieve the user ID before [assigning a proposal](/guides/proposals/assign-or-escalate-a-proposal/#assign-a-proposal-to-a-user).

## Path parameters

- `proposalId` integer, required

## Response `200`

Users who can be assigned the specified proposal are in the response.

- ServiceChannelServicesMessagingUsersUserInfo: The user details object.
  - `Id` integer: The unique numeric identifier of the user.
  - `UserName` string: The username of the user.
  - `UserNameOrFullName` string: The username if fullname is null or empty
  - `FullName` string: The full name of the user.
  - `Email` string: The email address of the user.
  - `LevelInfo` ServiceChannelApiModelProposalsMlpLevelSimpleModel
    - `UserId` integer
    - `LocationIds` integer[]
    - `LevelId` integer
    - `LevelName` string
    - `Order` integer
    - `UsersLocations` object
    - `CategoryChange` boolean
    - `PriorityChange` boolean
    - `CodeChange` boolean
    - `DivisionId` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is not accepted due to bad syntax, missing parameters, insufficient data, etc. <br/>Error codes: 502 — Proposal not found
- `401`: The request is not authorized. <br/>Error codes: 504 — API call rejected by security permissions
