# Set scan-notification settings

`PUT /v1/malware/services/{service_id}/notify`

Enable/disable scheduled scanning + email notifications and set recipients + schedule for a hosting service.

## Path parameters

- `service_id` integer, required

## Request body

- MalwareNotifyBody
  - `enabled` boolean: Turn scheduled malicious-code scanning + email notifications on/off for this service.
  - `recipient_emails` string[]: Who receives the report email. Max 20. You may include or omit the account owner.
  - `cadence` string: How often to scan: daily | weekly | monthly.
  - `hour` integer: Hour of day (Europe/Vilnius).
  - `minute` integer: Minute of hour (Europe/Vilnius).
  - `day_of_week` integer: Weekly cadence only: 0=Monday … 6=Sunday.
  - `day_of_month` integer: Monthly cadence only: day 1–28.
  - `notify_on_clean` boolean: Also email the report when a scan finds 0 malware (default: only email when threats are found).
