# Start an E-E-A-T analysis on a guide content

`POST /api/v1/eeat`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.serpmantics.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.serpmantics.com/api/v1/eeat`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Starts an asynchronous E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) analysis
on the HTML content provided for a given guide. The analysis runs in the background — use
GET /api/v1/eeat to poll for results until `status` is `done` (or `failed`).

**Note:** This endpoint uses tokens (check /api/v1/tokens-usage for the cost, might vary).

## Request body

- object
  - `guideId` string, required: ID of the guide to analyze
  - `html_content` string, required: HTML of the article to analyze (without `<mark>` tags)

## Response `200`

Analysis successfully started

  - `data` object
    - `eeatId` string: ID of the started analysis, use it to poll for the result via GET /api/v1/eeat
    - `status` string: Initial status of the analysis (typically `pending` or `started`)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Missing html_content, insufficient tokens, or failed to consume tokens
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid API key or user doesn't own the guide
- `404`: Guide not found
- `410`: Guide expired. Guides are locked 180 days after their creation, because the Google results they are built on are no longer representative. The body is `{ success: false, error: "Guide expired", expiresAt: "<ISO 8601 expiry date>" }`. Definitive: do not retry, create a new guide on the same keyword. No token is consumed by this refusal.
- `500`: Internal server error
