# Test warehouse connection

`POST /warehouse-connections/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Runs a test query with the stored credentials and records the result on the connection.

- `id` string, required

The test query succeeded

    - `provider` 'snowflake' | 'bigquery' | 'redshift' | 'postgres'
    - `config` object: Non-secret settings. BigQuery also includes serviceAccountEmail.

    - `lastTestedAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `lastError` string, nullable
    - `syncCount` integer
    - `createdAt` string, date-time
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `400`: The test failed (code connection_failed); the reason is also saved as lastError
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Missing scope, or the member role cannot manage workspace settings
- `404`: Not found
