# List subscriber notes by external ID

`GET /subscribers/external/notes`

Lists internal notes for a subscriber identified by customer-owned external ID.

## Query parameters

- `externalId` string, required

## Other responses

- `400` — Missing external ID
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Subscriber not found
- `503` — The database was temporarily unavailable. The request may be retried after the delay in Retry-After.
