# Delete subscriber list

`DELETE /lists/{listId}`

Deletes a subscriber list and removes all list memberships. Subscribers themselves are not deleted.

## Path parameters

- `listId` string, required

## Response `200`

List deleted

  - `removedMemberships` integer — Number of list memberships removed.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — List not found
- `503` — The database was temporarily unavailable. The request may be retried after the delay in Retry-After.
