# Get frequency cap

`GET /frequency-cap`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1/frequency-cap`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the company frequency cap, or null when none is set. Only sequences with frequencyCapEnabled respect it; their email steps are skipped for a contact already at the cap. Campaigns count toward the cap but always send. Transactional emails never count. Requires the account:read scope.

Frequency cap returned

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `frequencyCap` FrequencyCap: At most maxEmails marketing emails (campaigns plus marketing sequence emails) per contact in any rolling windowHours.
    - `maxEmails` integer, required: Most marketing emails one contact may receive in the window.
    - `windowHours` integer, required: Rolling window in hours.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: API key is missing the account:read scope
- `404`: Company not found
- `503`: The database was temporarily unavailable. The request may be retried after the delay in Retry-After.
