# Move conversations to or from Spam

`POST /conversations/bulk/spam`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1/conversations/bulk/spam`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves up to 100 conversations into the Spam folder (spam true) or back to the inbox (spam false). Only conversations that move are updated, so retries are safe. IDs that do not exist in the company are reported in `notFoundIds` and do not fail the request.

## Request body

- object
  - `conversationIds` string[], required: Conversation IDs to move, up to 100. Whitespace is trimmed and blank or repeated IDs are ignored; at least one non-blank ID is required.
  - `spam` boolean, required: True moves them to Spam; false moves them back.

## Response `200`

Conversations moved

  - `requested` integer: Distinct conversation IDs in the request.
  - `updated` integer: Conversations that moved.
  - `unchanged` integer: Conversations that were already there.
  - `notFound` integer: IDs that do not exist in the company.
  - `updatedIds` string[]: IDs that moved, in request order.
  - `unchangedIds` string[]: IDs that were already there, in request order.
  - `notFoundIds` string[]: IDs that do not exist in the company, in request order.

## Other responses

- `400`: No usable conversation IDs, or more than 100 distinct IDs
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: API key is missing the conversations:write scope
- `422`: Missing or non-boolean spam, or missing or non-array conversationIds
- `503`: The database was temporarily unavailable. The request may be retried after the delay in Retry-After.
