# Forward conversation message

`POST /conversations/{conversationId}/messages/{messageId}/forward`

## Request

Emails a copy of one received or sent message, with its stored attachments up to 15 MB in total (files left out are listed in the forwarded email), to another address. The forward is recorded in the conversation as a system message whose deliveryStatus moves from pending to sent or failed. It does not change the conversation's status, unread state, or last activity. Notes cannot be forwarded.

## Request body

  - `to` string, email, required: One email address to forward the message to.
  - `senderProfileId` string: Sender profile to forward from. Its sending domain must be verified. When omitted, the company default sender is used.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid recipient (code invalid_recipient), the message is a note or system message (code message_not_forwardable), or the sender profile's sending domain is not verified (code sender_domain_not_verified)
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: API key is missing the conversations:write scope
- `404`: Conversation not found (code conversation_not_found), message not found in it (code message_not_found), or sender profile not found (code sender_profile_not_found)
- `422`: Missing or invalid request body
