# Add account member

`POST /accounts/{externalId}/members`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1/accounts/{externalId}/members`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Adds a contact to the account (creating the contact when `email` is new). Re-adding an existing member with a role updates it; without a role keeps the current one.
