# Delete account

`DELETE /accounts/{externalId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sequenzy.com/api/v1/accounts/{externalId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the account and its memberships. Contacts are kept; their `account.*` attributes are cleared.
