# Preview accounts from an organization ID

`GET /account-suggestions/organization-ids/preview`

## Request

Shows the biggest organizations that creating accounts from `propertyKey` would make, with the name each account would get and sample contacts. Read-only.

- `source` 'event' | 'attribute'
- `nameKey` string
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Biggest organizations first

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `organizations` AccountOrganizationIdPreview[]
    - `externalId` string: The organization ID, which becomes the account's external ID.
    - `name` string, nullable: The name the account gets. From `nameKey` when set, otherwise from the work email domain most of its contacts share. Null when neither exists.
    - `domain` string, nullable: Work email domain most of its contacts share. Personal and disposable providers and your own sending domains are ignored.
    - `contactCount` integer: Contacts that would become members.
    - `sampleEmails` string[]: Up to 3 of those contacts, those at `domain` first.

## Other responses

- `400`: `propertyKey` is blank after trimming.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: The API key lacks `subscribers:read`, or no company is selected.
- `422`: Request shape validation failed (missing `propertyKey` or an unknown `source`).
