# Volcano plot data

`POST /volcano_plot_data`

## Request

Validate a differential-expression table (gene, log2 fold-change, p-value/FDR) and compute -log10(p) plus up/down/non-significant counts at conventional default thresholds (|log2FC|>=1, p<=0.05), for the Volcano Plot visualization. Invalid rows (non-finite log2FC, or p-value outside (0,1]) are dropped and reported rather than failing the whole batch.

## Request body

  - `rows` object[], required: Differential expression rows, one per gene.
    - `gene` string, required: Gene name/id.
    - `log2fc` number, required: log2 fold-change.
    - `pvalue` number, required: p-value, or an adjusted/FDR value — whichever column you want thresholded on. Must be in (0, 1].

Tool ran successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid argument or the tool could not run.
- `404`: Unknown tool.
- `429`: Rate limited (metered tools only). Body carries code `rate_limited` and retryable `true`; honor the Retry-After header.
- `503`: A metered tool is momentarily at capacity. The identical request should succeed after Retry-After; body carries code `upstream_unavailable`.
