# IndexNow Checker & Submitter

`POST /tools/indexnow-checker/runs`

## Request

Notify participating engines about changed URLs and see whether the submission was accepted. Crawling and indexing timing are not guaranteed. Verify your IndexNow key file and submit up to 100 changed URLs to Bing, Yandex, Naver and Seznam in one request. Without a key, get a new one and the file to serve. Costs 5 credits per run. ## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string: Reuse on retries so the same run is returned instead of charged again. A key only matches a run of the same tool and input, and only while that run is among the workspace's latest 1,000.

    - `url` string, required: Public http(s) URL. Private, local, and non-web addresses are rejected.
    - `key` string: IndexNow key to verify, 8 to 128 letters, digits or dashes. When omitted, a new key and its file are generated.
    - `keyLocation` string: URL of the IndexNow key file on the same host, when it is not at /<key>.txt.
    - `urls` string: Newline-separated list of public http(s) URLs.
  - `idempotencyKey` string: Reuse on retries so the same run is returned instead of charged again. A key only matches a run of the same tool and input, and only while that run is among the workspace's latest 1,000.
  - `maxCredits` integer: Refuse the run with max_credits_exceeded if it costs more than this.
