# Add custom prompts to an onboarded project

`POST /v1/projects/{projectId}/custom-prompts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.seoforgpt.io/api`

Adds prompts to the latest saved visibility test. This route never creates the first project or bypasses onboarding. Set testNow=true to queue background testing of only the added prompts.

## Response `200`

Prompts saved

## Other responses

- `202`: Prompts saved and background testing queued
- `400`: Invalid input
- `401`: Missing or invalid bearer token
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Conflict (e.g. API key limit)
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Responses include the current IETF `RateLimit` and `RateLimit-Policy` structured fields, compatibility `RateLimit-*` and `X-RateLimit-*` fields, and `Retry-After` on 429.
- `500`: Server error
- `default`: Any documented or unexpected 4xx or 5xx response uses the same typed error envelope.
