# Remove a user from the organization

`DELETE /org/users/{userId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1/org/users/{userId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Removes a user's membership from your organization. This also deletes the user's knowledge-base grants and group memberships — re-adding the user later does not restore them.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

The user was removed. No content.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not visible to this key.
