# Delete a tracked source

`DELETE /org/tracked-sources/{sourceId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1/org/tracked-sources/{sourceId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Permanently removes a rule. Rules created from published content (`source_origin: published`) cannot be deleted — deactivate them with a `PUT` (`active: false`) instead.

## Path parameters

- `sourceId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Deletion confirmation.

- DeletedResponse
  - `deleted` boolean, required: Always true — the record was deleted.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not visible to this key.
- `409`: The request conflicts with the current state (e.g. a duplicate).
