# Look up a domain's citations in an industry

`GET /org/industries/{id}/domains/{domain}`

## Request

How often the AI answers in this industry cited one domain over the window: the number of citations, its rank among cited domains, its share of all citations, and the brands most often named alongside it. Pass a bare domain in the path, or a full URL in `url`, which takes precedence; `resolved` reports the host as queried and the base domain it was matched to. A domain that was never cited returns `200` with `cited` false, not a `404`. Reads are limited to the public catalogue and your organization's own industry. Requires the GEO product.

## Response `200`

The domain's citation standing in the industry over the window.

- IndustryDomainDetailResponse: How often an industry's AI answers cited one domain over the window.
  - `resolved` IndustryDomainResolved, required: The domain the query was matched to.
    - `domain` string, required: The base domain that was matched.
    - `host` string, required: The domain or URL as queried, lowercased; a leading `www.` on a bare domain is dropped.
    - `ownership` string, required: Whether a known brand owns the domain — `official`, `external`, or `unknown`.
    - `owned_by_brand` string: The owning brand, when `ownership` is `official`.
  - `window` IndustryAnalyticsWindow, required: The date window that was applied.
    - `from` string, required: Start of the window, `YYYY-MM-DD`.
    - `to` string, required: End of the window, `YYYY-MM-DD`.
    - `days` integer, required: Length of the window in days.
    - `effective_weeks` string[]: The weeks of data the window actually covered, when known.
    - `collection_runs` integer: Prompt runs collected in the window, when known.
  - `cited` boolean, required: Whether any answer in the window cited the domain.
  - `citation_references` integer, required: How many times the domain was cited.
  - `rank_in_industry` integer, required: The domain's position among cited domains.
  - `share_of_citations` IndustryRate, required: A rate with a ready-to-display rendering.
    - `value` number, required: The rate as a number.
    - `display` string, required: The rate formatted for display.
  - `co_mentioned_brands` IndustryDomainCoMention[], required: The brands most often named in answers that cited the domain. Empty when the domain was never cited.
    - `brand_name` string, required
    - `cooccurrence` integer, required: Answers that cited the domain and also named the brand.
  - `data_quality` DataQuality, required: Deterministic sample-quality flag driven by the answered-run count.
    - `level` 'high' | 'medium' | 'low', required: low (<100 answered runs), medium (<400), high otherwise.
    - `answered_count` integer, required: The answered-run count the flag was derived from.
    - `reasons` string[], required: Human-readable caveats when confidence is below high; empty otherwise.
  - `notes` string[], required: Caveats about this result. Empty when there are none.
  - `definitions` object, required: A plain-language definition of each metric, keyed by field name.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `403`: The API key is authenticated but not permitted to access this resource.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not visible to this key.
