# Get a generated content item

`GET /org/generated-content/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1/org/generated-content/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns a single generated content item — its current version metadata, the prompt it answers, and (when available) the full generated text. Knowledge-base content is not readable here and returns `400` — use the KB node endpoints. Requires the GEO product.

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The generated content item.

- GeneratedContentDetailResponse: A generated content item with its current version metadata and source question.
  - `content_id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier of the content item.
  - `content_type` string, required: MIME type of the content (e.g. `text/markdown`).
  - `editorial_status` string, required: Editorial workflow status of the current version.
  - `title` string, required: Title of the current version.
  - `summary` string: Generated summary of the current version, when present.
  - `question_text` string, required: The prompt/question this content was generated to answer.
  - `version_num` integer, required: Version number of the current version.
  - `generated_at` string, date-time, required: When the current version was generated.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the content item was created.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: When the content item was last updated.
  - `text` string: Full generated body text, when available.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `403`: The API key is authenticated but not permitted to access this resource.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not visible to this key.
