# Undo a resolution

`DELETE /org/gaps/{gapId}/resolutions/{resolutionId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Retracts a resolution and recomputes the gap's status from the resolutions that remain: the newest remaining resolution that implies a status decides it, and if none does, the gap returns to `open`.

## Path parameters

- `gapId` string, uuid, required
- `resolutionId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

The resolution was retracted. No content.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `403`: The API key is authenticated but not permitted to access this resource.
- `404`: The gap or the resolution does not exist in your organization, or the resolution belongs to a different gap.
