# Get a content-generation run

`GET /org/content-generation/runs/{run_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns one run's status and counters — how many prompts resolved, and how many items are pending, running, succeeded, failed, skipped, or stopped. Requires the GEO product.

The run.

- ContentGenerationRunDetailResponse: A single content-generation run.
  - `run` ContentGenerationRunListItem, required: One content-generation run — its trigger, selections, status, and item counters.
    - `run_id` string, uuid, required
    - `run_group_id` string, uuid: The bulk-trigger group this run belongs to, when it was started as part of one.
    - `org_id` string, uuid, required
    - `org_name` string, required
    - `status` 'queued' | 'dispatch_failed' | 'running' | 'skipped' | 'completed' | 'partial_failed' | 'failed' | 'blocked' | 'stopped', required
    - `active` boolean, required: Whether the run is still in flight.
    - `trigger_mode` string, required: How the run was started — `manual` or `scheduled`.
    - `trigger_source` string, required: A label identifying what initiated the run (e.g. `org_content_generation` or `scheduler`).
    - `actor_user_id` string, uuid: The triggering user, when a user started the run.
    - `actor_type` string, required: The kind of actor that started the run (e.g. `user`, `api_key`, `system`, or `scheduled_job`).
    - `actor_name` string
    - `actor_email` string
    - `selected_content_type_id` string, uuid: The content type the run generated with, when one was selected.
    - `selection_source` string, required: How the content type was chosen: `run_override` (passed on the trigger), `org_default` (the org's selected content type), or `generic_fallback` (no content type configured).
    - `selected_publishers` PublisherResponse[]: The destinations the run publishes to, when any were resolved.
      - `publisher_id` string, uuid, required
      - `scope` string: Whether the destination is shared across the org or org-specific (e.g. `shared`, `org`).
      - `name` string, required
      - `slug` string, required
      - `type` string, required: The destination kind (currently always `citeables`).
      - `display_url` string, required
      - `logo_url` string
      - `active` boolean, required
    - `publisher_selection_source` string, required: How the publisher set was chosen: `run_override` (passed on the trigger), `org_default` (the org's configured destinations), or `none` (publishing disabled or nothing configured).
    - `requested_prompt_ids` string[], nullable: The prompt ids explicitly requested for this run; `null` (or absent) when the trigger did not name any.
    - `requested_prompt_count` integer, required
    - `resolved_prompt_count` integer, required: How many prompts the run actually materialized items for.
    - `pending_items` integer, required
    - `running_items` integer, required
    - `succeeded_items` integer, required
    - `failed_items` integer, required
    - `skipped_items` integer, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `403`: The API key is authenticated but not permitted to access this resource.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not visible to this key.
