# Update brand kit fields

`PATCH /org/brand-kit`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://apiv2.senso.ai/api/v1/org/brand-kit`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Shallow-merges the provided `guidelines` fields into the stored document: each field you send replaces that stored field, and fields you omit are kept. At least one field is required (`400` otherwise). Fields cannot be set to `null` — to remove a field, `PUT` the full document without it. Requires the GEO product.

## Request body

- PatchBrandKitRequest: A partial update of the brand kit guidelines. Fields present in `guidelines` replace the stored fields; omitted fields are kept. At least one field is required.
  - `guidelines` BrandKitGuidelines, required: The brand guidelines document. A closed object — the server rejects unknown fields with `400`. Every field is optional, and no field may be `null`.
    - `brand_name` string: The company name.
    - `brand_domain` string: The company's website URL.
    - `brand_description` string: What the company is, the problem it addresses, its approach, what users get, and why customers trust it.
    - `voice_and_tone` string: The communication style generated content should follow — language patterns, what to avoid, dos and don'ts.
    - `author_persona` string: The ideal content author, described as a specific persona.
    - `global_writing_rules` string[]: Directional writing rules for the AI writer (e.g. "prefer concrete examples", "avoid superlatives").

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed — a bad path/query parameter or an invalid value.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials — supply a valid org API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
- `403`: The API key is authenticated but not permitted to access this resource.
