# Email a quote/invoice to the customer

`POST /v1/quotes/{id}/send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sendquotenow.com`
- URL: `https://sendquotenow.com/v1/quotes/{id}/send`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Also exposed as the send_quote tool on the MCP server at /mcp. Always an explicit, separate call — never bundled into creation unless "delivery" was passed at create time.

## Request body

- object
  - `to` string, email: Defaults to customer.email from creation
  - `cc` string, email
  - `message` string

## Response `200`

Quote or invoice-labeled quote created: hosted PDF, QR code, Stripe payment link, expiration

## Other responses

- `400`: No recipient available
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Not found, or belongs to another account
