# List contacts

`GET /api/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sendly.now`
- URL: `https://api.sendly.now/api/contacts`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.sendly.now/api/auth/oauth2/authorize`, token URL `https://app.sendly.now/api/auth/oauth2/token`, scopes: `contacts:read`)

Cursor-paginated list of contacts. Supports filter by `search` and `subscribed`.

Requires the `contacts:read` scope — View your contacts and their custom fields.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `cursor` string
- `search` string
- `subscribed` 'true' | 'false'

Contact list

- ContactListResponse: Cursor-paginated list of contacts.

      - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: ISO 8601 datetime string
      - `customFields` object, nullable
      - `email` string, email, required
      - `id` string, uuid, required
      - `projectId` string, uuid, required
      - `subscribed` boolean, required

    - `hasMore` boolean, required
    - `nextCursor` string, nullable, required: Cursor for the next page, or null on the last page.
    - `total` integer, required
  - `success` true, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid auth
- `403`: Forbidden — insufficient permissions or project disabled
- `422`: Validation failed — request body or query parameters did not match the schema
- `429`: Rate limit or billing limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
