# Create a draft

`POST /inboxes/{id}/drafts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sending.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://sending.dev/api/v1/inboxes/{id}/drafts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Required scope: `inbox:send`. (`inbox:*` scopes cannot be assigned from the UI: they require a full-access `*` key).

- `id` string, required: Inbox ID.

  - `to` union: One or more recipients: 'a@b.com', 'Name <a@b.com>', several comma-separated addresses, or an array.

  - `cc` union: One or more recipients: 'a@b.com', 'Name <a@b.com>', several comma-separated addresses, or an array.

  - `subject` string
  - `html` string
  - `threadId` string, uuid

## Response `201`

Draft created.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid token.
- `403`: Insufficient scope.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `422`: Invalid input.
