# Regenerate a round's synthesis

`POST /v1/projects/{project_id}/rounds/{round_id}/synthesis`

Rewrite the round's synthesis from every completed simulation in it.
It runs in the background: poll the project until synthesis_status is no
longer "generating". This replaces the synthesis entirely, including any
edits made to it in the web app.
