# Get current user

`GET /api/v1/users/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.sellerassistant.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.sellerassistant.app/api/v1/users/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.sellerassistant.app/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://app.sellerassistant.app/oauth/token`, scopes: `read_write`)

Get current user info including name, email and tokens left.

`GET /api/v1/me` answers the same data and the rest of the account with it: the team, the plan, the marketplaces and every quota. The answer of this endpoint carries `Deprecation: true` and a `Link` header that names the successor. No `Sunset` header goes out: nobody has set the date on which this endpoint stops.

  - `currentTeamRole` string, required: Role of user in the current team
  - `currentTeamId` number, required: ID of the current team
  - `tokensLeft` number, required: API requests left
  - `tokensUsed` number, required: API requests used
  - `tokensLimit` number, required: API requests limit
  - `tokensRefillAt` string, date, required: API requests refill date

## Other responses

- `402`: Payment Required - subscription expired or payment method required
- `403`: Access denied - insufficient permissions, invalid API key, or the API request limit is used up (`public_api_key_limit`)
- `429`: Too many requests - rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal Error
