# Estimate sales by BSR and category

`POST /api/v1/estimate-sales`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.sellerassistant.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.sellerassistant.app/api/v1/estimate-sales`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Estimate approximate sales number for provided BSR, category and domain. The limit is 60 requests per minute. The following marketplaces are available: amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.es, amazon.it, amazon.fr, amazon.in, amazon.com.mx, amazon.com.br.

## Request body

- EstimateSalesByBsrRequest
  - `bsr` number, required: Best Seller Rank number.
  - `category` string, required: Name of root category. See all root categories [here](https://keepa.com/#!categorytree).
  - `domain` string: Amazon marketplace domain. Domain `amazon.com` is used by default if `domain` and `marketplaceId` are not provided. If both `domain` and `marketplaceId` are chosen, `domain` has bigger priority. Options: amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.es, amazon.it, amazon.fr, amazon.in, amazon.com.mx, amazon.com.br
  - `marketplaceId` string: Amazon marketplace id. Domain `amazon.com` is used by default if `domain` and `marketplaceId` are not provided. If both `domain` and `marketplaceId` are chosen, `domain` has bigger priority. See all options [here](https://developer.sellerassistant.app/doc-648175).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - validation failed or invalid parameters
- `402`: Payment Required - subscription expired or payment method required
- `403`: Access denied - insufficient permissions, invalid API key, or the API request limit is used up (`public_api_key_limit`)
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Too many requests - rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal Error
