# Request information from a sandbox customer

`POST /v0/sandbox/customers/{id}/kyc/rfi`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://orchestration.seismic.systems/api`

- Auth: API key in header `Api-Key`

Sandbox only. Raises a request for information on a customer whose KYC or KYB was submitted, as a reviewer would: the customer reads `under_review` with `pending_rfi: true`, the items are listed by `GET /customers/{id}/kyc/rfis`, and the request is emailed to the organization's compliance contact. Answering every item through `POST /customers/{id}/kyc/rfis/answers` or the hosted link approves the customer a few seconds later.

  - `items` SandboxRfiItem[], required: What the customer is asked for: 1 to 20 items.
    - `document_kind` 'business_formation' | 'articles_of_association' | 'memorandum_of_association' | 'dba_registration' | 'bank_statement' | 'ubo_bank_statement' | 'ownership_information' | 'shareholder_register' | 'certificate_of_incumbency' | 'flow_of_funds' | 'proof_of_nature_of_business' | 'compliance_screening' | 'government_issued_id' | 'passport' | 'drivers_licence_front' | 'drivers_licence_back' | 'identity_card_front' | 'identity_card_back' | 'selfie' | 'proof_of_address' | 'ubo_source_of_funds' | 'tax_document' | 'licensed_vendors_attestation' | 'proof_of_licensure' | 'proof_of_verification' | 'supplemental' | 'other'
    - `text` string, required: The request, as the person answering reads it. At most 5000 characters.

## Response `204`

Request raised.

## Other responses

- `400`: No items, more than 20, or an item longer than 5000 characters.
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `404`: Customer not found, its verification not yet submitted, or sandbox operation unavailable.
- `409`: The organization has no compliance email to send the request to.
