# Reject a sandbox customer's verification

`POST /v0/sandbox/customers/{id}/kyc/rejection`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://orchestration.seismic.systems/api`
- URL: `https://orchestration.seismic.systems/api/v0/sandbox/customers/{id}/kyc/rejection`
- Auth: API key in header `Api-Key`

Sandbox only. Replaces the automatic approval of a customer whose KYC or KYB was submitted: status webhooks move it through submitted and under review to rejected, with `rejection_reason` as the reason, as a real decision would. Edit the profile and submit again to have it approved.

  - `rejection_reason` string, nullable

## Response `204`

Rejection scheduled.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required.
- `404`: Customer not found, its verification not yet submitted, or sandbox operation unavailable.
