# Create a sandbox wallet replacement

`POST /v0/sandbox/accounts/{id}/replacement`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://orchestration.seismic.systems/api`
- URL: `https://orchestration.seismic.systems/api/v0/sandbox/accounts/{id}/replacement`
- Auth: API key in header `Api-Key`

Creates an unfunded replacement wallet for an eligible historical sandbox account. The historical account and its transaction history are preserved. Repeated requests return the same replacement.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required

## Response `200`

Replacement wallet available.

- SandboxAccountReplacement
  - `predecessor_account_id` string, uuid, required
  - `successor_account_id` string, uuid, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Account is not eligible or a retry key is missing.
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `404`: Account or sandbox operation unavailable.
